SB 281 and the New Conversation around LTC Planning

Governor Brown signed SB 281 into law in 2013. This law mandates that anyone who sells LTC solutions must know the differences between traditional tax-qualified long-term care insurance, life insurance with long-term care riders, and accelerated death benefits. This enlightening one-hour CE course will keep you compliant with CA law and help your clients find the best solutions available in today's marketplace.

Max started at DI & LTC in 2009 as a third-generation disability planning specialist. He is the co-author of “The Questions and Answers on Disability Insurance Workbook” and has been a speaker at several industry and business events across the Bay Area. In 2015 Max completed his Master of Science in Financial Services through the American College. He is also Past-President of NAIFA Marin. In his free time Max is a local history buff, an avid hiker, and a lover of many regional craft beverages
